Privacy Policy

Carda is a digital business card service operated by Saveron Digital Inc. (“Carda”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Carda apps and to carda.tech.

Information we collect

• Account: your email address and a securely hashed password.
• Your card: the details you add — name, job title, company, bio, phone, public email, photo, WhatsApp number, and links.
• Visitor analytics: when someone views or interacts with a public card, we record anonymous, aggregated events (views, link taps, contact saves). We store a one-way hashed IP (never the raw IP) for de-duplication, plus a coarse country and device type. We do not build profiles of visitors or track them across sites.
• Leads (Pro): if a visitor chooses to send their details back to you, we store what they submit and the time, on your behalf.
• Billing: Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We receive a customer and subscription reference and your plan status — we never see or store your full card number.
• Notifications: if you enable push, we store a device token to deliver notifications.
• Wallet passes: when you add your card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, we store a pass identifier so the pass can be issued and (in future) updated.

How we use information

• To create and serve your card and its public page.
• To show you analytics and leads for your own card.
• To process your subscription and send service messages (e.g. password resets, lead alerts, an optional weekly digest).
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with the law.

Service providers we share with

We share the minimum necessary with providers that help us run Carda:

• Stripe — payments and subscription management.
• Google Firebase — push notifications and product analytics.
• Apple Wallet & Google Wallet — to issue your wallet pass when you choose to add one.
• Our hosting infrastructure — to store and serve the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from the app (Settings → Delete account), or by emailing us. Deleting your account removes your profile, links, leads, analytics, and wallet-pass records, and cancels any active subscription. Some records may persist briefly in backups before being overwritten.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email [email protected].

Cookies

The Carda website uses only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to run the service. Public card pages ask for consent before recording analytics where required.

Children

Carda is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
